WHAT AND WHY

Theme that used by Qalam Art Network is a collaboration of the Islamic Culture and Local Culture (Indonesia) in presenting works of calligraphic art.

Islam is the religion directly from ALLAH and the local culture is a grace which was revealed to the artists to produce works of art that the message conveyed to the audience. In accordance with his duty as a "hamba" in preaching, qalamart want to contribute to the missionary activities through visual forms of calligraphy is presented in a variety of mediums and media.
